Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons is a Chinese action-fantasy film mixed with tons of offbeat humor.  I enjoyed Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons for its weird humor and absolute insanity! There is a special charm to all its characters, the setting, and the overall theme of this film. The film never hesitates to be bizarre and it will definitely take you to places.

Furie is a Vietnamese martial arts film released last year of 2019, and some can argue that it is somewhat of a thriller martial arts film because of its story.  Besides the action, what caught my immediate attention about Furie was the story. It follows an infamous former gangster who is disowned by her family because of past criminal ways. Unfortunately, her daughter was kidnapped by a trafficking ring and she went to great lengths to rescue her.
