The third and final Next Gen event under the ONE banner will conclude this Friday. On top of this card, an intriguing main event will include a classic striker versus wrestler showdown. Fighting out of the Philippines, Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang, a force within the ONE Championship banner, will clash with promotional newcomer Jarred Brooks.
Jarred Brooks | Pro MMA Record: 16-2-0
Brooks has been competing professionally in MMA since 2014 and gathered wins in reputable organizations such as UFC, Bellator, and WSOF (now PFL). Representing Mash Fight Team and fighting out of Detroit, this wrestler finds ways to score the takedown and slam his opponents down to the mat. If you watched any of his fights, you’d know he has highlight-reel slams and submissions. Out of his 16 wins, Brooks earned half of them by way of stoppage, with six fights ending via submission. He will make his ONE debut while riding a two-fight winning streak.
Lito Adiwang | Pro MMA Record: 13-3-0
Brooks’ upcoming opponent, Lito Adiwang, has looked excellent inside the ONE circle. He won 7 of his eight bouts within the promotion while earning five wins via stoppage. Adiwang is never afraid to stay within striking range and throw down. He secured 11 wins via stoppage, with seven coming by way of KO/TKO. Despite his KO wins, Adiwang isn’t just a striker and has also won fights by submission. ONE: NextGen III expects to be a thriller filled with MMA, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai action.
